WOMEN… Called To Be Fathers of the Gospel
Written by Roger Himes, edited by Eileen Himes
This is a new series of articles we have just begun that are especially directed toward women. Keep checking back, as a new article will be added each couple of weeks or so.
These messages should be of interest to both men and women — and even to young people, who are often over-looked because they’re thought to be spiritually immature. But the gospel is the great equalizer. The gospel comes to us by revelation — not by education or longevity as a Christian. Sadly, many people have been Christians for many years — repeating kindergarden over and over and over again.
In Christ, there is no male or female (Gal 3:28). Also, God doesn’t care if we are 13 or 103 years old. What he looks for is an open heart:
(1) totally focused on his gospel truth (Rom 1:1), and
(2) willing to listen and receive from him (Heb 3:7, 15, 4:7).
